FTX Founder SBF Accused of Leaking Private Papers in DOJ Complaint
FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) faces a new complaint by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for allegedly leaking private papers of Caroline Ellison, a former business ally and romantic partner turned government witness. The DOJ accuses SBF of attempting to discredit Ellison by sharing her personal writings with a reporter, potentially interfering with a fair trial. FTX collapsed in Nov 2022, followed by multiple lawsuits against SBF, including fraud and illegal political donations. He is set to appear in court on Oct 2.
