Crypto influencer Fernando Perez Algaba was found dismembered in a suitcase by children in Argentina after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, according to the autopsy.
It turned out, Algaba was earlier accused of fraud and that one of the companies he owns was in debt. According to various media sources, some of his other companies had other legal and financial troubles and he was being pursued by creditors for years.
Someone even commented, suggesting that someone to whom Algaba may have owed money must have caught him and was behind his murder.
However, it is not clear why Algaba was murdered. It might be possible that his death was premeditated as he posted controversial and cryptic messages prior to the incident.
Algaba went missing on July 19 after the owner of the property he was renting went to the police and reported the incident. It turned out, he was already murdered and the discovery of his body was purely by coincidence after a couple of kids playing football near a stream in Ingeniero Budge, Buenos Aires on July 23.
Algaba was from Argentina and he made quite a following on Instagram due to his extravagant lifestyle. He had almost 1 million followers on the mentioned social media platform prior to his death.
