This speculation is actually based on an example. BlackRock had similarly registered an iShares Bitcoin Trust just 7 days before applying for a Bitcoin Spot ETF. Then, 7 days later, they applied for a Bitcoin Spot ETF with the SEC.
Given these developments, it is possible that we may be on the verge of BlackRock offering an Ethereum ETF. If this happens, it could be a major turning point in the integration of cryptocurrency into mainstream finance.
