‘WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP,’ First Sports NFT Project, to Take Off!

We are excited to unveil WEMIX’s first sports NFT project: WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP.

A brand-new rewards program of sports NFT was born as ‘NEITH Station,’ the world’s first decentralized protocol-based NFTFi of WEMIX comes together with KLPGA’s (Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association) unique golf points system. the ‘WEMIX POINT.’

With the start of this project, we will keep our expansion of the WEMIX ecosystem by venturing into various global sports arenas.

We will be introducing WEMIX’s cutting-edge blockchain technology to athletes of various events and their fans and present a new way of enjoying sports by helping them experience the WEMIX ecosystem.

[Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP]

This whole new type of golf point system presented by WEMIX and SBS Golf will calculate the ‘WEMIX POINT’ based on the performance and official records of each of the regular KLPGA tournaments. And the final ranking will be determined based on the points accumulated during a season.

1. NFT For Players

After the season, top 60 players will be awarded with the NEITH NFTs with a total award of 500,000 WEMIX. After the Covenant Date, the players can at anytime claim (exchange) WEMIX using the NFT (WEMIX award-included) they acquired.

2. NFT For Gallery

• During the season, the NFT collections for ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ Gallery will be available for purchase. A total of 60 NFTs will be issued each for top 60 ranks and the value of WEMIX promised for each NFT corresponds to the ranking rewards.
• A tournament will be held on a weekly basis, and as the ‘WEMIX POINT’ ranking gets updated, the players registered on each ranking of the NFTs will also be updated. When the rankings are finalized after the season, the player information for each ranking will be saved on the NFT you own.
• The Gallery NFTs will be sold via English auction which comes with varying starting prices for different ranking rewards. These will soon be available on the NILE Marketplace.

3. NFT Usage

All NFT holders, players or galleries alike, can use their NFTs in the following three ways.

• Keep their NFTs
• Trade their NFTs for the 2nd time
• Burn NFTs to claim the promised WEMIX rewards when the Covenant Date arrives

Since the NFTs for ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ come with a certain amount of WEMIX rewards unlike other NFTs, you can expect the NFT value to naturally increase alongside the rise of WEMIX’s value simply by holding on to them.

In that vein, the WEMIX value will be taken into consideration during the 2nd NFT trading. But note that you can no longer own NFTs as your assets after receiving WEMIX as you need to burn NFTs to receive WEMIX.

The NEITH Covenant will operate with the WEMIX foundation’s marketing budget and profits from NEITH NFTs will be used for regular WEMIX burns for the community and for investing in the WEMIX ecosystem’s expansion.

4. PAPYRUS

A new, exclusive channel for the WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP NFT holders will be created on ‘PAPYRUS,’ a decentralized communication platform developed based on a link between blockchain tokens and NFTs. Start a conversation and interact with like-minded holders!

After the season, top ranking players from the ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ will participate in ‘WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP.’ This will be the finale of the year-long race to determine the season’s best of the best. Details on the tournament schedule and rewards will be available in the future.

Aside from ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ NFTs, we will also prepare NFTs that are exclusive to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP.
