DECENOMY: (KYAN) Mandatory Update
The Wallets inside the DECENOMY (DMY) Ecosystem are about to receive a significant update with new features, updated console commands and fixes. Once it is rolled out for each coin, it will be mandatory to upgrade.
The first coin receiving this upgrade was "KYAN," setting the start for new walletupdates across the DECENOMY ecosystem.
This update brings new features and improves the speed and security of our wallets. Next to the new code, it contains fixes and rewritten code snippets. DECENOMY aims to keep providing new leading features in the Masternode sector.
1. The '-rewindblockindex' option and its corresponding GUI element have been added, allowing to rewind the blockindex in case of a fork or a corrupted database.

This new feature deletes blocks after a specified blockheight by providing a valid blockhash in the console. It then tries to resyncs with the network from that block. Before, it was nessasary to do a full resync with the blockchain or from a bootstraped file. This provides a very easy and fast way to recover from various issues that may affect wallet functionality.

2. The '-setautocombinethreshold' command and corresponding GUI element provide users with the ability to manage small UTXOs (Unspent Transaction Outputs) in their wallet.

By setting the threshold, users can automatically combine smaller UTXOs into larger ones, reducing the number of transactions needed to send coins and lowering transaction fees. This feature is a replacement of the old autocombine command and does simplify wallet management by reducing the amount of unspend outputs and also helps to optimize transaction costs automatically, as more inputs add up the costs in a transaction.

3. The update also provides another 'Last Paid V2' fix that addresses an issue in the previous version of the wallet software related to masternode payments.

Updating the Last Paid V2 helps more that the correct masternode is paid and improves the accuracy of the payment schedule. This will bring more trust in the fairness of the masternode payment system and helps to better predict earnings.

4. The new 'checkconnection' RPC call enables users to quickly verify their connection to the network.

This new command provides an easy way to check if the wallet is communicating with a specified address correctly or establish a connection if possible. This will help to check if a specific host can be reached and used for exchanging informations.

5. The 'mnping' RPC call is introduced in this update, to manually ping masternodes, verifying its running status and communication with the network.

This feature grants some control to monitor Masternodes more effectively. It will help to spot issues faster and automatically.

6. The previous 'listmasternodes' RPC command has been improved, reducing its execution time.

With this rewritten command, it becomes a lot faster to receive an updated list of Masternodes in the network, as the old list is only updated, when specific changes are spotted.

7. The update also brings a new 'reloadmasternodeconfig' RPC call and a corresponding GUI element.

The reloadmasternodeconfig allows to reload the masternode configuration from the command line or the user interface without stopping or restarting the masternodes or the wallet. Before it was needed to close your wallet, make the changes and restart, to reload it.
