Former Employee of OpenSea Accused of Insider Trading of NFTs
Former OpenSea employee Nathaniel Chastain has been accused of using insider knowledge to buy and sell NFTs for profit. The outcome of the case could have an impact on the legal classification of NFTs. If Chastain is found guilty, it could set a precedent for insider trading in any asset class. Coinbase has supported the move to dismiss such cases.
