Following the developer's announcement of a multiyear agreement with Microsoft to expand Web3, the price of Aptos (APT), the native token for the Aptos blockchain, has increased over 10% in the past 24 hours.

The collaboration will combine Aptos blockchain technology with Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service to broaden the use of blockchain and make it easier for consumers to transition to Web3.

The Aptos Assistant chatbot, which will serve as a stand-in for customer care for customers and developers, is one of the new AI-powered blockchain tools that will be released by Aptos using the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

The two businesses will also collaborate on an AI chatbot and look into how they can support the finance industry.

Aptos Labs was founded when Meta's Diem project failed and its developers sought to launch a new project. The layer-1 initiative is supported by venture capital, including Andreesen Horowitz, Multicoin Capital, and Coinbase Ventures.

Other well-known firms utilizing Aptos include Franklin Templeton, NBC Universal, NBC, Mastercard, Google Cloud, and KYD Labs.
