Shiba Inu (SHIB), one of the most well-known meme dog cryptocurrencies, has been trading sideways over the last few weeks; however, recent news that was purportedly released by the ecosystem’s chief developer has the potential to excite the cryptocurrency community and cause a more dramatic surge higher for one of the most popular meme dog cryptocurrencies.
According to a tweet that was published on April 28, the Twitter profile Shiba Archives has announced that the pseudonymous chief Shiba Inu developer, known as Shytoshi Kusama, has made a surprising statement that the platform’s Layer 2 blockchain solution Shibarium would debut before the month of May.

Recent weeks have seen significant growth in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. There have been a number of recent big announcements made by members of the SHIB ecosystem. The announcements are spectacular, even if the long-awaited release of Shibarium on mainnet has not yet occurred.

In a few days, the Shib: The Metaverse team will release a new peek of one of the 11 hubs, Rocket Pond, which they teased on Twitter. The creators said in their post that the alpha peek will remove the element of surprise from Rocket Pond.

A contest where members of the SHIB army may win territory in the Metaverse was also promoted by the official Shiba Inu Twitter account, which retweeted the news. The giveaway was announced on April 11 on the brand new Shib: The Metaverse Twitter account.

Follow the new Twitter account and retweet the notification to enter the competition. The Rocket Pond alpha preview is expected to be available sometime around April 30, when the contest finishes.
