How much is $BLOKN worth?
The conversion rate is 1:1- meaning 1 $BLOKN token is equivalent to 1 $BLOK token. This is important to remember when it comes to purchasing ADBLOK and REBLOK NFTs.
Earning $BLOKN through Staking Pools
To earn $BLOKN, users can participate in designated Staking Pools. Bloktopia will launch a new staking pool where users can stake their $BLOK tokens, and in return, they will receive an equivalent amount of $BLOKN relevant to the APY of the Staking Pool.
These Staking Pools are unique and will remain separate to standard $BLOK staking pools, where $BLOK is still the APY% reward. These existing pools are unaffected by the introduction of the new token.
A burning mechanism to reduce the total $BLOK supply
A key feature of $BLOKN is its role in reducing the total supply of $BLOK tokens. For each $BLOKN used to purchase an NFT, Bloktopia will burn an equivalent amount of $BLOK from the Staking and Treasury Wallets it controls.
Additionally, the burning of $BLOK tokens used for NFT purchases will continue, providing further avenues to contribute to supply reduction. This innovative approach helps maintain the scarcity and value of $BLOK tokens, benefitting token holders and promoting long-term sustainability.
Flexible Payment Options: Combining $BLOK and $BLOKN
A significant advantage of $BLOKN lies in its ability to complement $BLOK for NFT purchases. Not only can users purchase REBLOK and ADBLOK through either $BLOK or $BLOKN in full, there is also the option to utilise a combination of both tokens to acquire NFTs, offering greater flexibility and accessibility for the community.
For users who may stake a lesser amount of $BLOK tokens, $BLOKN serves as an excellent option for part payments for NFTs. They can use their accumulated $BLOKN tokens and pay the remaining amount in $BLOK. Additionally, those who want to accumulate more $BLOKN tokens over time can participate in subsequent staking pools as new ones open, providing ongoing opportunities to earn rewards and purchase NFTs.
As an example- if a user stakes 1.2 Million $BLOK tokens in the 180-day staking pool, at the end of the staking period, the user will earn 1.2 Million $BLOKN tokens. With this rewarding outcome, the user can then purchase a 1.2 Million REBLOK (or any number of REBLOKs equating up to 1.2 Million total) using all of the newly earned $BLOKN tokens, with 1.2 Million $BLOK being burnt as a result of this purchase.
