On March 27th, the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) filed a lawsuit against Binance and CEO Changpeng Zhao for alleged regulatory violations. The CFTC alleges that Binance engaged in trades with 300 "house accounts" directly or indirectly associated with Zhao, without subjecting them to certain safeguards. In response, the CEO of Binance stated on its official website emphasizing that the exchange does not agree with the characterization of many of the issues alleged in the complaint.
