Nodle Decentralises their dApps with the help of SubQuery’s Kepler Network

This week, Nodle completes the decentralisation of their production dApps by switching projects to the SubQuery Kepler Network.

In a milestone for both Nodle and SubQuery, this strategic move not only underscores Nodle’s dedication to leading technological application innovation in the Polkadot ecosystem, but it also represents the maturity of SubQuery’s decentralised network as one of a few production-ready decentralised data networks in the market today.

Nodle, a renowned player in Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, has moved many of its applications (including client.nodle.com) to retrieve data from their project hosted by over 22 different indexers on the SubQuery Network.
Nodle has long been a customer of SubQuery and previously relied on SubQuery’s enterprise-level Managed Service to host their projects. Moving their projects to instead use the decentralised network was easy, requiring only the addition of a small JS library, and a few configuration changes.

“Moving to SubQuery’s decentralised network was a pretty straightforward process, we’re already seeing substantial improvements to the indexing backend when running on Kepler.

- Eliott Teissonniere, CTO and CoFounderat Nodle

Already Nodle is observing massive performance improvements from the decentralised networks, with Kepler taking less than 20% of the time to index and serve data to their applications. Users based in different regions also observe faster response times, thanks to SubQuery’s globally distributed network of indexers.

SubQuery is building the most open, performant, reliable, and scalable data service for dApp developers. The SubQuery Network indexes and services data to the global community in an incentivised and verifiable way. After publishing your project to the SubQuery Network, anyone can index and host it — providing data to users around the world faster and reliably.

With the SubQuery Kepler Network, teams can now go to their community and say with confidence “Our dApp is truly decentralised”.

If you’re inspired to publish your project on SubQuery, we’ve got you covered. Refer to our comprehensive guide here and become a part of the vibrant SubQuery community.

About Nodle

Nodle is an established leader in the field of IoT connectivity solutions. The company has developed a robust Bluetooth Low Energy-powered network, facilitating seamless data collection and connectivity for corporations and municipalities across a spectrum of devices, sensors, and tags.

Nodle introduces an innovative solution that offers individuals the opportunity to actively participate in the Nodle Network, in turn receiving rewards in the form of Nodle Cash. While the initial traction predominantly originated from application developers, this enhancement now extends the capability to any individual through the utilization of the Nodle mobile application. This strategic advancement is poised to catalyze the broader adoption and integration of the Nodle cryptocurrency.

About SubQuery

SubQuery is a leading blockchain data indexer that provides developers with fast, flexible, universal, and decentralised APIs for web3 projects. We empower developers from over 110+ ecosystems including Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, Cosmos, Algorand, NEAR, and Avalanche with rich indexed data to allow them to build intuitive and immersive decentralised applications.
