Get Ready to Join the Battle: A Beginner’s Guide to Playing ZooRacers Beta V4
Are you ready for an epic adventure into the world of ZooGenes? The 24th of March marks the launch of the latest version of ZooRacers, the blockchain-based kart game from ZooEcosystem. With improved performance, new weapons, karts, and gameplay mechanics, this Beta is set to be an exciting and rewarding experience for all players.
What is ZooRacers?
ZooRacers is a decentralized kart game in which players can battle against each other using digital assets in the form of NFTs. With the power of blockchain technology, ZooRacers allows for secure ownership and transfer of assets, and offers an immersive gaming experience. Players can earn rewards for participating in the game, and the team behind ZooRacers is constantly working to improve and expand the game.
Getting Started
If you haven’t done so yet, you need to sign up on https://www.zoo.games/, create a ZooGamesID and link it with your 2-Factor-Authentication code. Upon launching the ZooRacers app, you will be asked for those details, so start now!

What’s new in Beta v4?
What about karts and weapons? What about an improved performance? What about some gameplay additions?
If you have played our previous Beta and read our previous “HOW TO PLAY” post (https://blog.zoo.one/how-to-play-zooracers-battlekarts-beta-v1-8125b927f1ca) you should be familiar with some of the game mechanics. BUT we decided to spice it up a little!
Similar to previous Beta versions, you can still access the Customize menu, improve your overall score by adding NFTs (ZooGenes, ZooBoosters and ZooElixirs).
This latest version of ZooRacers offers a range of improvements and new features, including:
- Access to all karts and weapons, allowing players to find the perfect style for them.
- Improved performance and frame rate, making the game smoother and more enjoyable to play.
- New gameplay mechanics, including blue orbs (points) to collect for improved match ranking, Turbobolts as in-game currency (available for use upon full game release only), and bonus Perks to be selected pregame for a one-time use only.
- improved UX/UI displaying more complete information.
Most importantly, this Beta is connecting the game to the blockchain and the ZooGames protocol, with a taste of the Play-And-Earn possibilities on ZooGames. More info in part 2…
