SubQuery Hits 110+ Network Integrations, Emerging as Web3’s Largest Indexer
In the wake of the recent Stellar indexing support announcement, SubQuery proudly asserts its position as the foremost indexer in Web3, boasting extensive network coverage. The SubQuery indexing toolkit now supports more than 110 networks, enabling developers to expand beyond their ecosystems easily.

SubQuery is an open data indexer that is designed to be flexible, fast and provide universal coverage. SubQuery empowers developers to;

  • Build their own API in hours
  • Index chains incredibly quickly with the assistance of dictionaries (pre-computed indices)
  • Take advantage of multithreading and optimisation of the store to reduce costly database writes
While wide-ranging support is important, it’s critical to have supporting documentation to onboard developers to use SubQuery. This is why SubQuery releases developer-friendly quick-start guides and example starter projects with each new chain support. By using these resources as a base, teams can leverage SubQuery to add indexed and aggregated data to their dApps in no time.

“We are over the moon to have hit the milestone of over 110 supported networks for SubQuery. By abstracting backend intricacies, we empower developers to focus on what matters most: product development and user experience. We are confident that with our vast network coverage, we will help web3 builders create the next wave of exciting decentralised applications.”

— Sam Zou, Founder and CEO of SubQuery

Celebrate with 3 Months of Free Hosting

To celebrate this milestone, SubQuery is offering a special 3 months of free Managed Service deal to the next 5 users/teams who register and deploy a project to the SubQuery Managed Service.

To be eligible, you must simply be a new user of the SubQuery Managed Service and deploy a SubQuery project indexing a unique set of data that isn’t yet available via the SubQuery Explorer. Once you do this, you can receive 3 months of the Standard Plan for FREE! This can save you around $500 USD per project deployment.

Journey to 110+ Networks

Starting in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem meant SubQuery quickly learned how to cater to dApp developers who need quick access to data from multiple chains, with minimal adaptation to their SubQuery project. Once they were serving hundreds of millions of queries each day to hundreds of projects in the Polkadot ecosystem, SubQuery had the foundations to go further and this started with an expansion into Avalanche.
Shortly after Avalanche, SubQuery entered the Cosmos ecosystem via Juno and rapidly found the demand for a reliable indexing solution amongst all the Cosmos zones. As Cosmos customers flocked in, SubQuery quickly found that many were multi-chain and they wanted to use SubQuery across their EVM iterations. Customer requests are always a priority, so SubQuery went head-first into rolling out layer–1 and 2 support every week, having most recently announced support for Agoric, OKP4 and Stellar.

Multi-Chain Indexing Support

SubQuery’s goals have always been to provide fast and efficient indexing to the widest variety of chains possible. SubQuery took this multi-chain approach one step further with the introduction of multi-chain indexing.

Multi-chain indexing gives you the option to index data from across different networks into the same database, which in turn provides a single endpoint where you can query all of your data across all chains. You can use the same SubQuery project, which includes the same GraphQL schema and mapping files to achieve this. It means that SubQuery is truly a write once, run anywhere multi-chain indexer.

For example, you could capture XCM transaction data from all Polkadot parachains or monitor IBC messages across Cosmos Zones in a single project, with a single database, and a single query endpoint.

The Next Evolution: SubQuery Network

SubQuery is building the most open, performant, reliable, and scalable data service for dApp developers. The SubQuery Network indexes and services data to the global community in an incentivised and verifiable way. After publishing your project to the SubQuery Network, anyone can index and host it — providing data to users around the world faster and reliably.

The SubQuery Network is the future of web3 infrastructure, it allows you to completely decentralise your infrastructure stack and most importantly, the network will support all 110+ chains that SubQuery supports.

Developers deploying their SubQuery project to the SubQuery Network will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Unstoppable infrastructure — With almost 100 decentralised and geographically isolated Indexers providing data to your dApps, sleep safe knowing your infra will never go down.
  • Superior performance — Since Indexers are all around the world, they’re closer to your users. Lower latency and faster requests creates a better user experience for your users.
  • Infinitely scalable — As your user base grows, more indexers will serve you data allowing you to infinitely scale without interruption.
  • Seamless transition — We’re here to help you migrate, and we’ve made it easy to integrate in your dApps with our network client SDKs.

With the SubQuery Network, you can now go to your community and say with confidence “our dApp is truly decentralised”.
