The Star Wars NFTs from Cryptoys will include 15 different “digital toys” based on fan-favorite characters including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader. The Flow blockchain, which is home to collectibles platforms like NBA Top Shot and NFL All Day, mints the NFTs.

The NFTs will be distributed in Star Wars–themed digital “holocrons,” or data storage devices from the iconic sci-fi film genre, and come in five different cartoonish, styled skin styles. If you purchase a “blind box,” you won’t know whose character you’re getting until you crack it open.

Will Weinraub, CEO, and co-founder of Cryptoys parent company OnChain Studios, stated:

“We’ve all been Star Wars fans since we were kids, which is why it’s an absolute dream come true to bring Star Wars collectible digital toys to the Cryptoys platform,”

This isn’t the first bunch of NFT collectibles based on the Star Wars franchise, though. VeVe is a digital collectibles platform that has issued many sets of 3D digital models, digital posters, and digital comic book covers, all of which incorporate NFTs from different Disney and Marvel franchises.
