In a new announcement on the social media platform X, Ledger says that it is releasing a new product in its line of crypto wallets equipped with touchscreens.
“Ledger Flex is here. Alongside Ledger Stax, Ledger Flex is the latest addition to our new category of secure touchscreen devices.”
According to the firm’s <a href="https://shop.ledger.com/pages/hardware-wallets-secure-touchscreen" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">website</a>, the newer Flex model comes with a 2.84″ touchscreen while the Stax model features a 3.4″ one.&nbsp;
Both wallets are compatible with thousands of digital assets and come packed with Ledger’s Secure Element chip and proprietary operating system, heightening security and accessibility.
Hardware wallets are devices that store digital assets without being connected to the internet, making them resistant to hacks and other online threats.
<a href="https://bitcoinworld.co.in/is-ledger-live-tracking-each-and-every-move-of-its-users/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ledger</a>’s Stax wallet, which was announced in December 2022 and launched earlier this year, was designed by the inventor of Apple’s famous iPod.
As stated by Ledger chief executive Pascal Gauthier at the time,
“It is the first secure touchscreen; the first time a touchscreen user interface has been driven by a secure element chip, which is crucial for crypto security.
It’s also the first curved E-Ink display ever built, the first display using organic semiconductor materials on plastic substrates rather than silicon materials on glass and the only screen made at less than 100 degrees.”
