<p>Ripple has requested a one-week extension of the deadline for remedies-related discovery in its case against the U.S. <a href="https://coinedition.com/tag/sec/">Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)</a>. On February 6, through its lawyer, Ripple applied to the judge for the deadline to be extended from February 12 to February 20, 2024.</p>

<p>Ripple cited delays in resolving the dispute over the relevance of the post-complaint discovery requested by the SEC as the reason for demanding an extension. According to Ripple, <a href="https://coinedition.com/sec-marks-win-wins-motion-to-compel-against-ripple/">the Court ruled in favor of the SEC</a> on February 5, one week before the close of discovery.</p>
