<p>Steven Nerayoff, a prominent figure in the early Ethereum community, sued the U.S. government under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). His lawsuit <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qpiwtd0fv1rfjfcwlus7j/FTCA_Redacted.pdf?rlkey=i6pfvldndm5qjtr46gijdxojb&amp;dl=0">seeks $9.6 billion in damages</a> for extortion charges ultimately dismissed in May 2023.&nbsp;</p>
