The commission has also urged unlicensed trading platforms to cease operations, warning that continued activity will be considered a criminal offense. These measures aim to regulate the cryptocurrency market and prevent fraudulent activities in Hong Kong’s financial needs. Companies violating the regulations may not be granted licenses during the transition period.</p>
