<p>On May 15th, the Bitcoin Cash network underwent a significant upgrade, enabling developers to create tokens with similar characteristics to BCH called &#34;CashTokens.&#34; These tokens can be issued using the network and have various applications, including stablecoins, commodities, gift cards, and event tickets, according to BCH developer Jason Dreyzehner. The successful upgrade, carried out at block height 792,772, also introduced technical improvements such as a secure multi-party wallet and transaction validation.
