The exchange denies any wrongdoing and claims to have robust KYC protocols in place. However, Binance has previously faced accusations of enabling Iranians to circumvent US sanctions and was also reported to have been used to funnel money to terrorist groups.</p><p>The exchange is also being investigated for potential anti-money laundering violations and has been sued by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission over alleged unlawful trading.</p>
