<p>We promised you surprises in 2023 and we aim to deliver on that. Myria’s gaming ecosystem will expand further this year and you’ll also see the first game by Myria Studios. We’re of course talking about Metarush!</p><h2 id="header-0">Ready for a Sneak-Peak?</h2><p>We’re pleased to announce that Myria will be hosting some exclusive Metarush demos while the game is still in alpha phase in order to collect feedback. Since slots for the demos will be limited, only a select number of participants will be invited. (Hint: we’re looking for the most passionate gamers).</p><p>Players chosen for the demo will be able to complete a full level of Metarush before it’s even in beta! Participants can then leave essential feedback, which will help us improve Metarush. Interested? Here’s what you have to do to join.</p><ol><li>Fill in the <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVtaM3gzZhMo9tZf-tOrMqESv5VS7eWgTjPANkYgpl8X_-Ug/viewform" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">application form</a></li><li>Make sure you have a PC covering the minimal requirements:</li></ol><ul><li>CPU — Dual Core</li><li>GPU — At least 4GB of VRAM</li><li>RAM — 16GB Min</li><li>OS — Windows 7&#43; (macOS not supported yet)</li></ul><p>If you’ve been selected, you’ll receive an email with more info on the next steps.</p><h2 id="header-1">What Is Metarush?</h2><p>Metarush is one of the first games developed by our internal AAA game studio and while it’ll be the first, it definitely won’t be the last. So what exactly is Metarush? The exact definition would be something along the lines of a battle royale obstacle runner. In Metarush, players will compete in races set across different places in the known and unknown galaxies, so expect to see some interesting landscapes and even weirder inhabitants! Your main objective in Metarush is to get to the finish line. By any means necessary. If you have to knock a few people to their doom, so be it!</p><p>With a set number of players able to qualify for the next level, only the fastest will survive! Make it through all stages and earn yourself the title of champion!</p><h2 id="header-2">Is Metarush Play-To-Earn?</h2><p>The short answer is “No”. The design philosophy at Myria has always been to “bring blockchain gaming to the world”. We believe that the Play-to-Earn model was instrumental in popularizing crypto gaming but it also imposed a barrier to entry, preventing millions of players from joining in. While developing Metarush, Myria Studios made sure to remedy that. Instead of using Play-to-Earn, Metarush adopts the Play-and-Earn model. This means two things:</p><ul><li>Metarush will always be free-to-play with no requirements whatsoever</li><li>Players will have a chance to earn prizes based on their in-game skills</li></ul><p>You heard that right, Metarush WILL ALWAYS BE FREE-TO-PLAY!
