Glad to see you as this fantastic AMA host today!Kiki: We’re excited to have you all here today to discuss the latest developments and future plans.Genshimaro has joined us to share some information and insights about ZooEcosystem.No more bla-bla, let’s get started and dive into the world of ZooEcosystem together!Whazzup Genshi! How about a little intro for those few lost souls that don’t know you yet?Genshimaro: I’m Genshimaro, and I’ve been living in Southeast Asia for 15 years. I’m originally from France, and I’ve been involved in developing the ZOO ecosystem for over two years now.Kiki: Cool! Thank you for this introduction. Can you recall your steps and how exactly you helped develop the <a href="https://www.wanchain.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">WanChain</a> Ecosystem?Genshimaro: I started by making a sticker pack for WanChain called WANBOY &#x1f60e;&#x1f60e;&#x1f60e; After this I launched a POS node and Storeman node, became involved in the launch of <a href="https://wanswap.finance/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Wanswap</a>, and worked as a designer for FNX.I teamed up with my old IRL friend Fennec to create a full core team and launch <a href="https://zookeeper.finance/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZooKeeper</a>!It’s been a big part of my life, and I’m grateful for the support from the community.Kiki: Very interesting! So, what are you up to these days and what is the general direction for the project?Genshimaro: Things aren’t always easy, ideas change, and narratives shift. We’re doing our best to have a fair vision, and we believe we have the necessary tools to make it happen. I’ll keep you updated on our progress through this AMA. We have many exciting updates to share with you so let’s get right to it!Kiki: Good to hear! What shall we start with?Genshimaro: Let’s start with ZooKeeper. Many of you are worried about the end of farming on Wanchain. What’s going to happen? Is Wanchain going to lose its liquidity??? OF COURSE NOT! The solution is simple:<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/dcb55449d9574fecbd0090d3bda5cd7e.png" />We’re going to offer Cross Chain LPs on the WAN/ZOO pair.As soon as LP-providing on WanChain ends, you will be able to send your liquidity token to <a href="https://www.avax.network/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Avalanche</a> via the WanChain bridge to keep farming on Avalanche.Kiki: Ah that is a very cool idea; this will indeed effectively enable liquidity to remain on Wanchain while still earning rewards. What other exciting info can we expect?Genshimaro: Now, onto <a href="https://zoo.games/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZooGames</a>! We realized that gaming studios want big traffic, so we’re creating a fun, user-friendly web3 gaming platform. Kudos to our ZOO OGs for putting in the work! Any other exciting news for ZooGames that you can share with the community?Genshimaro: Absolutely! We’re also testing our <a href="https://blog.zoo.one/zoogames-the-fun-open-for-all-e1b3d2212b78" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZooGames AUTH protocol</a> on all platforms imaginable to create a frictionless gaming experience.It’s amazing! A surprise comes at the end of this AMA ;) BUT We’re missing an IMPORTANT feature in our ecosystem, though…Kiki: …? Can you tell us which one please ;)<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/ee108adcdd85497397ad8531e8009b7d.png" />Genshimaro: We’ve been working with Wanchain to bring fiat on ramp to ZooGames; we’re testing the integration now and it works like a charm. Release mid-2023.Kiki: That’s awesome news!Looking forward to testing this new feature which will surely help boost adoption to the platform and ecosystem in general. What other news can we expect for ZooGames?Genshimaro: We created the inGameChips, which is an ERC20 token that transits only on mirror addresses. <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/c95bb35c08934c00a779c694f78e0ff6.png" />It’s meant to be minted on demand and burned at the player’s request, has no speculative value and can’t be sold. This new token helps games create virtual currencies without providing liquidity to an exchange market. Lastly, we’re revamping the tokenomics of ZooRacers after the v3 release. We’re calling this inGameChips for ZooRacers the TurboBolt (TB), and it can be used only in the game.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/8ad5438921644200b5fa364bde711a5a.png" />You can loot some TB in airdrop boxes on ZooRacers’ battlefield, or you can buy packs of TB with vZOO.Kiki: Oh wow, that is super exciting!And what can one do with these TB tokens?Genshimaro: You will be able to buy perks or loot boxes in-game. Loot Boxes can drop NFT weapons or NFT parts that will be useful to build your perfect ZooRacers vehicle (note that these features will not be available for the next Beta).Kiki: Ah very interesting, and speaking of ZooRacers… When can we expect the Beta v4?Genshimaro: 24 / 03 / 2023<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/31aedcf210f6423f8ca693b64cd73974.png" />This Beta will be the final one and it will be an open Beta without any interruption before the final release of the game. In the v4, players will experience some Play-and-Earn mechanics as we will provide a vZOO rewards pool for the Free-to-Play, as well as the betting feature for Custom Matches.Kiki: Exciting indeed!How about ZooGames content? Any new game(s) being developed?Genshimaro: Yes, we’re thrilled to announce that a third party gaming studio is creating the next ZOOGAMES compatible game, and will launch an IGO for it. Their new game is currently in early development and is set to be released in 2023. It is backed up by the Zoo team and in fact two of the Zoo Team members are actively participating in the game development. &#x1f440; &#x1f440; &#x1f440; Introducing GENES STRIKERS!<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/ab57a3aeb4554669a0876d2a708cd5de.png" />Kiki: Oh wow!That sounds like a really cool game; can we get some more details?Genshimaro: GenesStrikers is a super fun and competitive soccer game that mixes sports and strategy. It has a turn-based gameplay where you get to customize your team, formation, ball, and stadium. This means you get to make strategic decisions that can make or break the game, making it exciting and immersive.What’s even cooler is that the game uses <a href="https://openzoo.io/collection/0x992e4447f470ea47819d677b84d2459677bfdadf" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZOOGENES</a>, <a href="https://openzoo.io/collection/0x38034b2e6ae3fb7fec5d895a9ff3474ba0c283f6" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZOOBOOSTERS</a>, vZOO, and <a href="https://openzoo.io/collection/0xa67213608db9d4bffac75bad01ca5b1f4ad0724c" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ELIXIRS</a>. Plus, if you get your hands on a STADIUM NFT, you can earn passive income. If you love both sports and strategy games, GenesStrikers is definitely the game for you. Each turn unfolds with suspense and excitement as you work to outsmart your opponents and secure a win.Kiki: Amazing! Great to hear that all elements of the ZooEcosystem will be represented in GenesStrikers!Now, when can we expect the IGO? &#x1f440;Genshimaro: In just about two months, the IGO will launch on a Layer 2 chain and the website is currently in development, so stay tuned for more updates. This game is an exclusive to ZOOGAMES and we can’t wait for you to try it out.Kiki: This sounds great and I am sure the community has been eagerly awaiting this news. Now, how about Gaming Pools, any news to share today?Genshimaro: As you already know, the Gaming Pool (this is still a temporary name) will help players receive rewards according to their actions and participation. We want that direct access to rewards to be made automatically. After much thought, we decided that this revenue will be dependent on a certain algorithm profit/loss in vZOO, linked with the player’s Mirror address. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose a lot, as long as you make use of vZOO you will earn some rewards. On top of that, this type of mechanism allows all ZOOGAMES compatible games to give access to the Gaming Pool automatically to their players. This is an additional incentive for our developer friends.Kiki: Very cool! And is it possible for the average bloke to increase rewards without being a hardcore gamer?Genshimaro: Definitely yes! There will be several different ways of boosting your rewards on the platform. As long as you are engaging and participate in creating value on the platform, you can improve your ranking on the leaderboard. The higher your rank is, the more rewards you receive. As examples, we can mention staking options, ZooBooster burning, affiliation and more functions to take advantage of the Gaming Pool.Kiki: Fascinating, and I am sure good news for all casual gamers too!Now, we have had many questions about this from the community, what about the burning mechanisms?Genshimaro: About burning, every transaction made via the protocol is subject to fees. These fees are based on the following: 1% goes to the Gaming Pool and 1% is burned. Each game can individually decide to integrate other burning mechanisms if they wish to.If the community wants to increase fees, a vote can be submitted later on once ZooGames is fully functional and mature.Kiki: That is good to hear and I am sure music to our community’s ears. Another point, what about the Guilds? Can you share some more info on these?Genshimaro: We will release the Guilds feature the day one of our partners decides to have access to this option. Right now, we prefer to focus and develop other things.Kiki: Ok that sounds intriguing… So what kind of other things are you hinting at? Any updates for ZOONO maybe?Genshimaro: A ZOONO Beta is planned and will be released approximately a few weeks before main launch. To hold you over until then, here are some screenshots of ZOONO; final release in mid-2023. It’s a combination of general knowledge and speed, and we’re excited to see how you all fare.Kiki: That sounds very cool!
