<h2 id="header-0">OVERVIEW</h2><p>We have seen the evolution of NFTs since inception and the innovation along with it. NFT 1.0 was introduced through the creation of PFPs and digital collectibles. NFT 2.0 was introduced through the creation of virtual Land in the form of parcels. MOBLAND has introduced the next layer, NFT 3.0, through the creation of revenue-generating business licenses. The first release of business licenses are the dynamic and upgradeable <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/mobland-weed-farm" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Digital Weed Farms</a>.</p><p>The business licenses, in this case the Digital Weed Farms, are on-chain businesses which immediately provide a range of unique opportunities for capitalists, mercenaries, and grinders within the #MafiaMetaverse. Each Digital Weed Farm needs an area of <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/mobland-turf" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Turf</a> to operate. Turf is MOBLAND’s in-game land parcels and the foundational layer upon which the businesses are operating and generating value.</p><p>Players can own or rent Turf to operate Digital Weed farms (land required to run a farm) and consume SEED to produce BUD (in-game digital Weed), that can be consumed to upgrade farms, repair damaged farms, upgrade the characters, heal injured characters, and additional in-game utilities.</p><react-video url="https://youtu.be/zx_9tiplRJ0"></react-video><p></p><h2 id="header-1">Introducing The Shadow Market</h2><p>MOBLAND is introducing a revolutionary NFT borrow and lending marketplace set to disrupt the way players transact within and beyond the game.  The Shadow Market will allow MOBLAND Turf and Farm NFT owners to list and lend out their assets to players around the world, similar to listing and renting out your property on Airbnb. The marketplace is based on a peer-to-peer business model. This makes it easy to use and enables the asset owners to efficiently provide services to players in return for generating game revenue.</p><p>The in-game Shadow Market is utilized to borrow and/or lend in-game assets.  Owners (Lenders) have the freedom to set lending parameters and list assets on the marketplace where Renters (Borrowers) can efficiently search the marketplace to borrow assets.  The free market borrowing and lending platform breaks down barriers to entry, promotes wider participation, and enables renters to utilize Turf &amp; Farms to generate commodities while simultaneously creating revenue streams for lenders.</p><p>The idea behind the Shadow Market is two-fold:</p><ol><li>Provide avenues for owners to earn in the #MafiaMetaverse by renting out their turf and farm to players in the ecosystem.</li><li>Provide avenues for renters to benefit from the utility of turfs and farms without having to own the asset.</li></ol><p>The Shadow Market consists of the Turfs section and the Farms section. Each of the sections features tools that can be utilized by both Borrowers and Lenders.</p><h2 id="header-2">SHADOW MARKET: Lending &amp; Borrowing</h2><p>Turf &amp; Farm Owners using this platform get to list and advertise their assets to a global community. The lease agreements and payments are transparent, on-chain, and void of third-party interference. As for the renters (borrowers), the Shadow Market offers a user-friendly and dynamic interface to search for suitable rental terms and gain exposure to assets outside their own holdings. Below we will go into detail on the parameters of the Shadow Market from two viewpoints: listing your asset to rent out (lend), and searching the market to rent (borrow) other owners’ assets.</p><h2 id="header-3">Lending on the Shadow Market</h2><p>The Shadow Market gives the Turf &amp; Farm Owners the unique ability to earn by renting out (lending) their assets within the MOBLAND ecosystem. The listing process gives the Turf &amp; Farm owner autonomy to dictate the terms of the lease agreement.  Furthermore, the listing platform enables owners to create multiple listings for a singular asset, providing economic flexibility for owners.</p><h3 id="lending-turfs">Lending TURFS</h3><p>Turf Owner listings are based in the Area (km2) of the Turf with a minimum listing requirement of 4km2.
