<h2 id="header-0">Yesterday, CoinGabbar revealed that Apple had blocked the latest release of the Coinbase wallet, prohibiting users from transferring NFTs. As the concerns grow, Metamask is also planning to dump the Apple ecosystem.</h2>Dan Finlay, co-founder of <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/what-is-metamask-and-how-to-use-it" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MetaMask</a> and ex-Apple employee, believes the crypto sector should abandon Apple&#39;s App Store entirely, calling Apple&#39;s 30% in-app purchase tax an abuse of monopoly.As previously reported, Apple has asked Coinbase Wallet to enable NFT transfers via its specialized in-app purchase mechanism, which will enable the tech giant to collect 30% of the gas fees for transfers.This move sparked a market debate about how Apple can circumvent its own policies. Apple recently announced an upgrade to the App Store policies that specifically authorized NFT-transfer applications. Several media outlets contacted Apple headquarter to confirm the news, but the tech behemoth did not respond.<h3 id="future-plans-for-metamask">Future Plans for Metamask</h3>To overcome these hurdles, MetaMask co-founder Dan Finlay has proposed setting up a new prepay transaction relay service that assists Apple users in avoiding this huge taxing structure. He slammed Apple, saying:“Apple is not following any regulations here. They&#39;re simply squeezing. Perhaps it&#39;s time to put up an external prepay tax relay service so that there are &#34;no fees&#34; in the app. Apple&#39;s nonsense came can be simply gamed because it&#39;s nonsense. Apple makes me feel rebellious.”However, Metamask&#39;s co-founder stated that he has spoken with Google&#39;s top executives. He stated that Google is more open to interacting with the system rather than making arbitrary policy judgments.Meanwhile, Apple&#39;s decision to charge gas fees will prompt other <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/what-minting-an-nft-means" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NFT companies</a> as well to exit the Apple ecosystem, which might be terrible news for the tech giant.
