As per the reports, Sequoia Capital, an American investment and venture capital firm, <a href="https://twitter.com/Chain_Review/status/1684681464862892032?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1684681464862892032%7Ctwgr%5Ed9e0f2fc9e4ed39c5a25aa9b86eebae628619db8%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcointelegraph.com%2Fnews%2Fsequoia-capital-slashes-crypto-fund-after-industry-collapses" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reduced</a> the size of its cryptocurrency funds from $585 million to $200 million due to a liquidity shortage and an inclination towards smaller crypto competitors.

According to the reports, the business also intends to lower the capital level and therefore make it easier for investors to participate in Sequoia’s fund offerings.

However, Sequoia Capital wrote down its interest in the cryptocurrency <a href="https://thecoinrise.com/sequoias-investment-in-ftx-has-not-affected-its-fund/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">trading platform FTX to zero</a> when the business collapsed.&nbsp;

Sequoia Capital was an important contributor to the large venture capital investments obtained by the digital currency and fintech industry.
