Kraken <a href="https://x.com/krakenfx" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Exchange</a> has officially announced the completion of its acquisition of Coin Meester B.V. (BCM), a Dutch digital asset broker. This strategic move underscores Kraken’s commitment to regulatory compliance and its adaptability to the evolving cryptocurrency landscape despite its <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/kraken-demands-jury-trial-in-legal-clash-with-sec-over-crypto/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">legal fight</a> with the SEC by requesting a jury trial. Brian Gahan, <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-gahan-82635928/?originalSubdomain=ie" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Managing Director</a> of Kraken Europe, emphasized that the BCM acquisition is a pivotal milestone in their European expansion strategy. He stated,

Initially announced last October, the acquisition’s specific details remained undisclosed until now. With BCM under its umbrella, Kraken plans to offer Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) services across multiple European countries, either directly or through partnerships.&nbsp;
As part of the integration, BCM clients will soon gain access to a diverse portfolio of over 200 digital assets, enhanced liquidity, and high-standard security measures.
