Non-fungible token (NFT) collection Pudgy Penguins joined hands with Web3 domain provider Unstoppable Domains, allowing users to access Pudgy World with their .pudgy domain names.&nbsp;
On July 10, the two companies announced that .pudgy domain holders can sign into the virtual world using only their domain names. The team believes this adds an ownership layer to users’ Pudgy World Experience. 
With the new integration, users will no longer need to submit Web2-based credentials such as Google or Apple accounts to sign into the virtual world. Furthermore, the integration allows users to log into their accounts without traditional passwords.

On Jan. 10, Sandy Carter, Unstoppable Domains’ chief operating officer, explained how Web3 domains <a href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/web3-domains-unassuming-force-in-crypto-mass-adoption-unstoppable-domains-coo">play a vital role in Web3 adoption</a>. The executive said that Web3 domains have instant utility, which addresses criticisms of the lack of uses for some blockchain-based products like NFTs.

In a press release, Carter emphasized the benefits of integrating Web3 domains with Pudgy World access. The executive said:

The .pudgy domains serve as unique identifiers, enabling users to showcase their individuality within the Pudgy Penguins community. The team believes the integration goes beyond simple usernames and represents users’ digital selves in the virtual world.
Unlike conventional logins, .pudgy domains allow for long-term management of digital identities. They provide access to exclusive chats, events and activities, enriching user engagement and making interactions more meaningful.
