Currently, BitRiver operates facilities with approximately 40 MW of capacity that predominantly use APG-based energy, located in regions rich in oil and gas resources like the Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, as well as the Orenburg region. An intriguing prospect for BitRiver's data centers is their potential use for advancing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Ogienko mentioned that considerations are underway to accommodate AI capacities within these facilities, hinting at a broader applicability beyond traditional data storage and processing roles.
With an operational bandwidth of over 526 MW across 15 data centers and <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-mining-reshaping-landscape-amid-global-interest-surge/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hosting</a> more than 175,000 computing units, BitRiver's collaboration with major partners like Gazprom Neft for APG projects and En+ Group through the joint venture Bit+ exemplifies its commitment to innovative and environmentally conscious digital solutions.
