Recent <a href="https://www.reuters.com/technology/terraform-labs-co-founder-do-kwon-miss-start-us-sec-trial-2024-02-26/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">reports</a> highlighted Terraform Labs Co-Founder Do Kwon’s potential failure to appear for the initial day of the upcoming civil trial on March 25. Kwon’s lawyer David Patton hinted at the possible situation, considering the court’s repeated delays in Kwon’s extradition decision. 
Last week, the High Court of Podgorica ruled to extradite Kwon to the United States, <a href="https://www.pobjeda.me/clanak/do-kvon-bice-izrucen-sad-u" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">denying</a> his request to be extradited to his native South Korea. Though Kwon’s legal team argued that Montenegro’s Justice Minister has the ultimate authority to pass the decision on his extradition, the court rejected it. While the court asserted that the decision might be altered again, it remains unclear when Kwon will be extradited.
