<p class="is-style-lead">Famed crypto YouTuber and SBF insider Tiffany Fong goes on record saying the infamous image of the famed ex-FTX CEO circulating on the internet is legit.</p> 
<p>Independent crypto reporter Tiffany Fong shared a photo of the founder of the collapsed FTX crypto exchange, describing the image as the “first and only” photo of Sam Bankman-Fried to be released since he was jailed after being convicted of fraud in August 2023.</p>

<p>In the photo, reportedly taken on Dec. 17, 2023, Bankman-Fried sports a beard and appears noticeably thinner while standing next to five other inmates.</p>

<p>The journalist also published a fragment of an interview with another prisoner under the alias G-Lock, who communicated with Bankman-Fried. He described the FTX founder as strange, but admitted that he considered him a good guy.</p> 
<p>‪“Sam Bankman was clean shaven, you heard, now he’s scruffier than a motherfucker,” G Lock, an alleged member of the Bloods gang, told Fong in an excerpt from a post release interview that will be released in full on her YouTube channel next week. </p> 
<p>A member of the crypto community was quick to comment on the photo. One user admitted that he felt sorry for Bankman-Fried despite losing money due to <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/ftx/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FTX</a>.</p>

<p>On Nov. 2, 2023, the jury <a href="https://crypto.news/ftx-founder-sam-bankman-fried-is-guilty-to-all-charges-crypto-community-reacts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">returned</a> a verdict in the case of the ex-CEO of FTX. The court found Sam Bankman-Fried guilty on all seven counts.</p>
