 <p dir="ltr">Moonbeam, the smart contract platform for cross-chain applications, is reportedly eyeing expansion into the Web3 gaming space.</p>
 <p dir="ltr">A news report by The Block today revealed that the platform has joined <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="forces" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/forces.html">forces</a> with Animo Industries, a blockchain game developer, to help bring <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Crypto" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/crypto.html">Crypto</a> <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="gaming" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gaming.html">gaming</a> to more people across the globe.</p>
 <p dir="ltr">In a comment, Moonbeam Foundation’s Head of Ecosystem Development Sicco Naets, said that the partnership brings more than just the quest to promote mass adoption of Web3 <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="gaming" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gaming.html">gaming</a>.&nbsp;</p>

 <p dir="ltr">According to Naets, the collaboration is part of the company’s “<em>broader strategy to move blockchain <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="gaming" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gaming.html">gaming</a> beyond the conventional play-to-earn model and technology for its own sake</em>.”</p>
 <p dir="ltr">It’s about putting gamers into the driving seat of the creator economy, with the alliance focused on promoting meaningful utility as part of the Web3 gameplay mechanics, Naets added.</p>
 <p dir="ltr">As the two projects target further adoption for <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Crypto" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/crypto.html">Crypto</a> <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="gaming" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gaming.html">gaming</a>, Moonbeam will provide a grant, while Animo will tap into Moonbeam’s technology to boost gamers’ acquisition and holding of in-game assets.&nbsp;</p>
 <p dir="ltr">The integration will see gamers access such assets – whether Web2 or Web3 – from a single marketplace. The convenience that this brings could spark increased traction for blockchain games, Naets noted.</p>
