<p>The crypto prices today were in the green, as the market participants seem to be putting their bets into the market ahead of the revised U.S. GDP data. The key economic data, scheduled for release later today, will shed light on the current health of the economy. In addition, it would provide cues on the potential moves of the Federal Reserve in 2024.</p> 
<p>Meanwhile, the recent rally could also be attributed to the <a href="https://coingape.com/pro-xrp-lawyer-backs-mike-novogratz-btc-spot-etf-approval-timeline-prediction/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">speculations over BTC Spot ETF approval</a>, and the upcoming Bitcoin halving event. Several analysts believe that both these events would trigger massive inflow in the market while sending the major cryptos to their record highs.</p> 
<p>Notably, talking about the recent crypto prices, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> regained momentum and added 2.64% to trade at $43,684.64. The trading volume of the crypto was up 41% to $29.25 billion. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s run towards the $44,000 mark has also sparked speculations over the crypto hitting a new yearly high by the end of 2023.</p> 
<p>On the other hand, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethereum price</a> noted gains of 0.31% and traded at $2,200.87 during writing, with its trading volume soaring 29.57% to $12.98 billion. Simultaneously, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bnb/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BNB price</a> was up 2.33% to $258.15 on December 21, while its trading volume slipped 22.36% to $1 billion.</p> 
<p>Interestingly, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana price</a> has added 11.7% to $83.87, with its trading volume skyrocketing 112.01% to $4.05 billion. Notably Solana crypto has <a href="https://coingape.com/solana-sol-flips-xrp-as-it-tops-ethereum-in-24hr-dex-volume/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">flipped XRP</a> on December 20 to secure the 5th position by top market capitalization. The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> ticked up 0.90% to $0.6155 during writing.</p> 
<p>In the meme coin segment, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dogecoin price</a> noted slight gains of 0.47% to trade at $0.0915, with its trading volume rising 35.01% to $595.39 million. Simultaneously, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shiba Inu</a> price also noted slight gains of $0.61 to $0.00001023 during writing.</p> 
<p>Meanwhile, the gains in almost all the major crypto prices have triggered a rally in the global crypto market. As of writing, the global crypto market cap advanced 2.03% to $1.63 trillion, while its trading volume rose 25.71% to $71.57 billion. The fear and greed index stood at 74, implying a “greed” sentiment in the market.</p>
