<p>Earlier today, <a href="https://coinedition.com/tag/coinbase-news/">Coinbase</a> Chief Legal Officer, Paul Grewal posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the US&nbsp; SEC responded to Coinbase’s motion to dismiss and restated its stance that certain cryptocurrencies featured on the Coinbase platform qualified as investment contracts under the Howey Test, making them subject to SEC registration.</p>
