The previous transactions made by the wallet that added liquidity to the meme token indicated an affiliation with FTX and its sister firm Alameda Research, both founded by <a href="https://coinedition.com/tag/bankman-Fried/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bankman-Fried</a>. 
In an interesting turn of events, one of the most hyped meme tokens on Coinbase’s layer-2 Base has become one of the most controversial tokens. After losing the majority of its liquidity and witnessing a price fall of more than 85%, the crypto community on Twitter has accused the deployer of rug-pulling.
