Elon Musk, the new owner of the popular social media platform Twitter since October 2022 and also the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, has made a last-minute announcement on his official Twitter account about an issue that occurred on Twitter today. 
It was thought that there was a technical problem on Twitter as a large number of users received a “Rate limit exceeded” warning, which means “Usage limit exceeded” during the day, and could not update their main page. However, Musk’s statement revealed that the platform has implemented temporary restrictions to address system manipulations.

Elon Musk, with his post on his official Twitter account, put an end to the ongoing discussions for hours and announced that a series of restrictions have been introduced to address system manipulations. According to Musk’s post, verified accounts will be limited to 6,000 posts per day, unverified accounts to 600 posts per day, and newly unverified accounts to 300 posts per day.
