The API Portal of Flare, a Layer 1 blockchain that enables developers to access decentralized, high-quality data from multiple chains and the internet, has been <a href="https://console.cloud.google.com/marketplace/product/flare-public/api-portal-flare-network" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">integrated into Google Cloud Marketplace</a>. This move introduces some of the initial blockchain APIs to be offered on the platform, enabling easy blockchain transactions and the retrieval of current status using Flare’s nodes and Connected Chain nodes for developers who use Google Cloud Marketplace.This significant integration means that Google Cloud’s native Cloud Marketplace now offers support for blockchain APIs belonging to Algorand, BNB Smart Chain, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Flare, Litecoin, Songbird, and XRP. In addition, any future blockchain APIs that are incorporated into Flare’s API Portal will also be accessible to developers using Google Cloud.<h2 id="header-0">Reducing the Barriers to Web3 Participation</h2>Developers can utilize blockchain APIs to design applications that conduct transactions and retrieve on-chain information regarding the current state of the chain. Having access to these APIs liberates developers from having to operate their own nodes for each blockchain they need to engage with.
