Hello MAP Protocol community! We’re excited to share our latest biweekly update, covering the period from April 12 to April 26, 2023. In this update, we’ll discuss our recent presence at the HK Web3 Festival, key product and technical updates, and developments in our community.Key Technical Updates<h2 id="header-0">&#x1f50d; MAPO Scan</h2><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/1*zNDrjheQt3FpoHM3jNd98w.png" />MAP Protocol blockchain explorer,<a href="https://maposcan.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> MAPO Scan,</a> went live! With an updated UI and new features, both developers and users can monitor cross-chain transactions and network activity more efficiently.<ul><li>Validator information has also become more complete. You can<a href="https://maposcan.io/validators" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> check validators’ </a>socials and performances right in MAPO Scan too.</li><li>Further optimization for mobile views, and MongoDB backend data query optimization to resolve high-loading issues, are both underway.</li></ul><h2 id="header-1">&#x1f300; Omnichain Connectivity</h2><ul><li>Cosmos: Our dev team is testing and further researching Cosmos integration, currently conducting reverse data validation (from Cosmos to MAP).</li><li>Klaytn: MAP Protocol has submitted a<a href="https://github.com/mapprotocol/map-contracts/pull/223" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> light client request</a> on GitHub, which is now on the testing net. We’re in the final testing and checkup phase for mainnet deployment.</li></ul><h2 id="header-2">&#x1f4d6; Omnichain Dictionary</h2><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*_HdLU7eLNLR-5BhdEq0YjA.png" />Omnichain teaser — Omnichain Dictionary has completed its update for the off-chain version. It basically allows users to send requests to add a new entry in a dictionary(a simple mapping) on a foreign chain with a simple key and its corresponding value.</blockquote>MAP Protocol at HK Web3 FestivalWe had a fantastic time attending the HK Web3 Festival! Below are the cross-chain data details up till April 26:<ul><li>MAP Relay Chain has 573,304 active addresses, and over 2.3 million cross-chain transactions.</li><li>The total volume of cross-chain assets supported by MAP Protocol’s omnichain infrastructure has reached over $87 million.</li><li>Polygon accounts for 67.4% of the total cross-chain volume, reaching over $58 million; BNB Chain about 25.7%, reaching over $22 million.
