<p>Germany’s administration has made a strategic move in the cryptocurrency space, transferring a significant amount of Bitcoin to major exchanges Kraken and Coinbase. This comes after they recently made deposits totaling about 1,700 Bitcoins on three different exchanges.</p>

<p>The most recent transfer involved splitting 400 Bitcoins between Kraken and Coinbase, totaling nearly $25 million. Speculation in the cryptocurrency community has intensified due to this move, especially with whale activity and market fluctuations reaching a peak.</p> 
<p>According to blockchain analytics company <a href="https://www.arkhamintelligence.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Arkham</a>, 200 Bitcoins were deposited into each exchange at 15:38 UTC+8 by the German government with a total value of&nbsp; $24.34 million. Their prior deposit of 1,700 Bitcoins, which was worth about $110 million, was split among Kraken, Coinbase, and Bitstamp.</p> 
<p>Germany now owns $2.82 billion worth of <a href="https://bitcoin.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Bitcoin</a>, with unrealized profits of $1.1 billion. This huge sell-off by the German government might have contributed to the ongoing selling pressure that has caused the price of Bitcoin to fall below $60,000, along with large withdrawals from Bitcoin ETFs and other market variables.</p> 
<p>Although the German government has chosen to cut back on its Bitcoin holdings, there are prominent distinctions in the investment patterns of other significant players. For instance, Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy recently declared that it has acquired 11,931 more Bitcoins with the money raised from the <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/microstrategy-seeks-to-raise-700-million-for-additional-bitcoin-purchases/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">sale of $700 million in convertible notes</a>.
