Bitget Wallet and Mobox have partnered to create an interconnected gaming economy with interoperable NFT free-to-play games. This partnership expands the Hong Kong-based <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-the-metaverse/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">metaverse</a> gaming platform’s portfolio of partners which already includes the likes of Animoca Brands, Binance Labs, OpenSea, and Trust Wallet, among others. 
The announcement comes barely four months after Bitget <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/bitget-accelerates-expansion-beyond-derivatives-market-with-100m-web3-fund/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">launched a $100 million fund</a> to support the next generation of crypto projects in Asia. In March, Bitget invested $30 million in BitKeep (now Bitget Wallet) completing a domain merger of the two companies. 
Mobox wants to leverage the community ownership concept of <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-a-blockchain-game/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">play-to-earn gaming</a> without compromising on the fan aspect of free-to-play games. With Bitget Wallet, the platform will be able to optimise the utility of <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-an-nft/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NFTs</a> by connecting different metaverses.

Bitget Wallet was founded in 2018, as BitKeep and has since established itself as one of the leading multichain wallets in the web3 space. The wallet supports among others, NFT buying, selling, transfers and token swaps. Users can also use the wallet to explore different decentralised apps across multiple blockchains. 
The non-custodial wallet solution claims to have more than 10 million users spread across 168 countries.&nbsp;Bitget and Mobox are pursuing a shared vision of building an interconnected and user-friendly blockchain gaming and NFT ecosystem.&nbsp; 
Although blockchain gaming activity has slowed over the past 12 months, it is still the most active segment of the Web3 industry with 38% according to a recent report by DappRadar. 
Some of the industry critics have blamed the poor quality games as a potential stumbling block to progress. Mobox’s strategy of focusing on free-to-play gaming helps it retain the quality of games whilst also enabling players to benefit from play-to-earn gaming.
