Blockchain network Near Protocol has announced a strategic partnership with Metabora Singapore (SG), a Web3 gaming initiative affiliate of Kakao Games, South Korea&#39;s biggest multi-platform gaming company.As part of the agreement, <a href="https://medium.com/boraecosystem/bora-and-near-join-forces-strengthening-web3-cross-chain-ecosystem-2101db6e723b?ref&#61;blockhead" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> Monday at ETHDenver, the two partners plan to jointly develop global sports IP-based Web3 games, as well as increase brand awareness, invest in research and collaboration on cross-chain liquidity enhancement, host events, and generate Web3 business collaboration opportunities in Korea and worldwide.Metabora SG, formerly known as Bora Network, is focused on game development and blockchain-based gaming ecosystems, with a portfolio that includes mobile games based on Kakao Friends intellectual property.<h2 id="header-0">Expanding Market</h2>&#34;We expect to expand the <a href="https://www.boraportal.com/?ref&#61;blockhead" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BORA</a> ecosystem in the Web3 market,&#34; Metabora SG&#39;s chief business officer Vincent Lim, said. &#34;We will continue to increase the potential of BORA contents with prestigious global platforms.&#34;<a href="https://near.org/blog/what-the-near-foundation-does/?ref&#61;blockhead" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Near</a> has been steadily building up awareness throughout South Korea since the launch of its Korean Hub in November 2022.
