A recent Axios report shows that ex-President Donald Trump is in <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/06/24/trump-bitcoin-nashville-cryptocurrency?utm_campaign=editorial&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">talks to speak at Bitcoin 2024</a>, which is slated for late July in Nashville. 
This appearance could potentially impact the 2024 presidential race as the former president seeks to position himself as a forward-thinking candidate in the realm of digital finance.&nbsp; 
The Bitcoin 2024 conference, a gathering of crypto enthusiasts and industry leaders, offers a prime platform to connect with tech-savvy voters and blockchain innovators. 
However, Trump wouldn’t be the only political figure at the event. Other notable speakers include presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and Republican Senators Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn.&nbsp; 
Moreover, the ex-president has recently been vocal about his support for the crypto sector. At a Mar-a-Lago event, he <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-06-12/trump-meets-bitcoin-btc-miners-in-his-latest-pro-crypto-overture?srnd=homepage-americas" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">pledged</a> to advocate for bitcoin mining, highlighting its role in energy grid stability. He’s even expressed openness to accepting political donations in cryptocurrency.&nbsp; 
Last week, Trump received a massive <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/06/21/winklevoss-twins-donate-2m-in-bitcoin-to-trump-campaign/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$2 million donation</a> from Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, co-founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini to fund his re-election campaign. However, the <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/06/22/winklevoss-twins-bitcoin-donation-to-trump-campaign-refunded/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">donation was later refunded</a> after exceeding the federal donation limit. 
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s campaign appears to be reassessing its stance. Recent reports indicate that Biden’s re-election team has been reaching out to crypto industry experts for policy guidance, suggesting a possible shift in the administration’s approach.
