What are SDKs?
Software Development Kits (SDKs) are bespoke sets of tools and instructions needed to build apps, or dApps, quickly and easily.
In the blockchain gaming world, they do this by providing developers with functionality to facilitate everything from creating and interacting with non-custodial wallets, to minting non-fungible tokens (NFTS), building games, and more.
Above all, SDKs allow developers to access and use APIs and other tools needed to build, launch and test projects and prototypes fast.

Myria’s initial SDK release is installed using a single line of code and enables developers to start interacting with tools on Myria’s L2 straight away. Within the SDK environment, they will find modules to facilitate a hassle-free project development journey, such as how to create an ERC-721 NFT collection.
The Myria Developer Platform has a developer-first approach, simplifying complex blockchain interactions with Myria’s set of SDKs. Developers will be able to launch any NFT project like a blockchain game in a matter of minutes without the need to understand blockchain coding languages like Solidity.
Getting started with Myria’s SDK
Myria’s SDK has the following concepts:
- Projects — this could be any creative or entertainment product, or a game. A project is a prerequisite to completing any or all of the following steps.
- Collections — these are batched items with certain similar characteristics such as land parcels, weapons, clothes, characters, or characteristics.
- Minting — the creation of ERC721 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as those listed above.
- Assets — individually minted items (NFTs) of immutable status and value that can be used within games or other dApps or openly traded in the Myria marketplace. These digital assets can be anything from in-game status items to pieces of art or music.

Future SDK developments
Needless to say, we have big plans ahead with more features and functionality. Our immediate plans include expanding the Wallet SDK to enable builders to request signatures from end-users and players, enabling fully immersive experiences without leaving your site.
We will be launching game-specific tooling to aid developers with building and deploying new gaming projects. We want to enable game studios and developers to easily integrate blockchain infrastructure into their games, with fast integration, massive scalability, and intuitive management of their blockchain games.
