Two Individuals Detained by Taiwan for Being Linked to JPEX Fraud

The Taipei District Prosecutors Office detained two individuals connected to JPEX, a problematic crypto exchange, on suspicion of fraud and violations of relevant banking and anti-money laundering laws. The individuals, Chang Tung-Ying and Shi Yu, have been taken into custody.  

In September, Hong Kong authorities arrested at least 11 people related to JPEX's alleged fraud case and blocked its mobile app and website.
