Monster Shelter NFTs

Cute little monsters have filled the streets of cities all over the world and they need a place to call home. Adopting any of these 5,555 animated monsters will make you a proud member of the Monster Shelter organization.

The collection features a variety of monster NFTs, each having up to 10 traits, including a unique color palette, individual presence and character.

In the long run, NFT holders will be able to participate in a multiplayer Tamagochi-inspired game on Discord where they can take care, develop and socialize with their new characters. There are also plans to launch a merchandise store for members and their monsters, as well as deploy a breeding system.

Following an unintentional mishap caused by a Lynx practicing dark arts, 3,000 Lynxes were scattered across multiple dimensions and timelines. The only way to restore balance is to collect all 3,000 NFTs.

The characters in this collection reference several popular movie stars, inventors and other personalities, including Iron Man, Thor, Jack Sparrow, Albert Einstein, Superman and Super Mario.

Commenting on the driving force behind the project, the team said:

“After learning about Solana core technology and how it solves the crypto scaling issues, we wanted to become one of the early adopters/contributors to the NFT scene. We were fortunate to meet a few devs in the Solana ecosystem, and have decided to help contribute to the ecosystem, we started by sharing a dockerized Metaplex flow. We also plan on using mint sales to fund projects on the Solana ecosystem.”

Speaking of contributing to the NFT space, the Lost Lynx Society will be releasing all the code used for the drop after launch. By automating Metaplex, other NFT projects will be able to launch their own projects with minimal technical knowledge.

Sad Pixels NFTs

This NFT series is undoubtedly an odd one in the pack. Sad Pixel is a collection of 6,666 largely suicidal characters that are trying to pass a simple message — “tech has ruined our mental health.”

You will be left disappointed if you are expecting a roadmap or intriguing future plan from this project. The team is “too sad to make a roadmap” and they don’t care if you buy the art or not.

“Our roadmap is that there is no roadmap. The whole point of this project is to show how fucked up the internet and social media are. The art is a reflection of how tech has ruined our mental health. Just buy the art if you're numb like us. Or don't. We don't care.”

Solar Heroes NFTs

NFT gaming has grown to become such a hot topic in 2021. With major players like Ubisoft and Google entering the space, the next few years are set to be revolutionary.

That being said, Solar Heroes is a play-to-earn MMORPG game based on NFTs, staking, and farming. The game was built with an in-house gaming framework on Unity. There are two playable character classes that allow users to obtain in-game NFTs via events and rare monster drops.

“The NFTs in Solar Heroes are not like the typical "collectible card" NFTs so common in crypto today. Instead, they are usable and functional NFTs that can be inserted into the Solar Game Framework and become special in-game items.”

Lucid Dream is a French project targeting art lovers. It is the brainchild of a team of two friends living in Paris. While one is working in an art gallery and doing digital art, the other is a blockchain developer. Their goal is to “develop digital art and show the power of NFT to everybody.”

Using generative art, the duo came up with a collection of 888 rather abstract art pieces.

In addition to owning an NFT from the collection, holders stand the chance to win 1 of 100 physical paintings of their NFTs, as well as 3 paintings worth $2,000.

As for its roadmap, NFT holders will be able to join a DAO on Discord where they will be taught how to create their own generative art.

Verse of Death is a horror piece of art & ticket to the Death DAO. Although the title of the scariest NFT is up for debate, this series of 2,222 tokens is only “pretending to be the scariest NFT.”

“Verse of Death is a unique project on the Solana blockchain. We will grant our buyers horror pieces of art with their own SCARITY rating. Through innovative features like SOuL FEE SYSTEM and marketing activities (collaborations, giveaways, crematorium) we will increase Deaths’ popularity.”

It is also worth mentioning that “the Painture Game” will be released 48 hours after secondary trading becomes available. The game is exclusive to only NFT holders.

The Wild Ape Gang

Vampires are generally known to be scary and horror creatures. However, count Dracula appears to have lost his touch. The Goofy Dracula series is a collection of 10,000 funny-looking vampires.

“Goofy Dracula is a unique, hand-drawn, NFT collection centered around a goofier, more family-friendly, version of Dracula!”

According to the team behind the project, more than half of the proceeds from the sales, as well as royalties after the launch, will be channeled to supporting children in Transylvania who do not have the means to access good healthcare and education.

It is also hard to ignore the massive giveaway that has been attached to the project. NFT holders will have a chance to win a brand-new Lamborghini Urus, in addition to other very rare collection items that would be randomly airdropped to selected holders. House of Warlords (HOWLS) claims to be building the “next generation of NFT PFP with insane tattoo-inspired art and hardcore tech.” The series features a collection of 8,888 NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.

Like most new NFT projects, the game is still in development, with no timeline on when it will be released. However, there are a few interesting aspects of the project worth mentioning. First, HOWLS has what is called the “Great Seppuku Event.”

This is a monthly deflationary event where holders are required to burn one of their warlords. In doing so, they will be rewarded with 1000 SOUL tokens and a 50 percent chance to claim a new NFT with an even more limited supply.

Secondly, one random HOWL holder will win a 2-week all-expense paid trip for 2 to Japan.

Project GAIA Cyborgs NFTs

One intriguing aspect of this project is its Santa buyback and charity program. A 5 percent royalty fee is taken from all resales and channeled towards buying back the Santa NFTs, making Sol Santas the first deflationary buyback NFT.
