About Cards of Ethernity
How to Play
- Go to Cards of Ethernity and click “Play Now”
- Download the Fractal app, Sign In with Fractal, then install Cards of Ethernity
- Please complete the tutorial and enter “Ranked Mode” to start participating in the tournament
- You can find more info available at “how to play” guide
Tournament Format
- The tournament will last for one month
- Players can play as many games as they want during this time to achieve the highest rating possible
- Ratings will be calculated using an elo and MMR system
- The top 1000 players at the end of the tournament will receive cash rewards.
- Win-trading is not allowed and any players found to be engaging in win trading will be disqualified from the tournament
- Players must play at least 50 games during the tournament to qualify for prizes
- Only games played in Ranked Mode will count towards qualification for prizes
- No use of third-party software or tools to gain an unfair advantage is allowed
- Sharing accounts or playing on someone else’s account is not allowed
- Intentional disconnecting or leaving games early to manipulate ratings is not allowed
- Collusion or match-fixing with other players is not allowed
- All players must follow the game’s code of conduct and terms of service
Practice and Ranked Mode
CoE is an advanced card strategy game with intricate mechanics including turn actions, Aether burning, match end conditions and more.
Tournament Schedule
This tournament will take place on Mar 15, 11am UTC and continue for month, ending on Apr 15, 11am UTC.
Players can compete in unlimited matchups, and will be ranked on their MMR on the Fractal leaderboard. You can only earn MMR in Ranked matches. You can access other stats such as Rank, Top Adventurer & Pet and Win Ratio on CoE’s in-game leaderboard.
Prizes
The top 1000 players on the Fractal leaderboard qualify for the $3000 cash prize pool. The distribution is as follows:1st place: $5002nd place: $3503rd place: $2254–10th place: $75 / each11–50th place: $10 / each51–100th place: $5 / each101–200th place: $2.50 / each201–1000th place: $1.25 / eachThe payout will be in the form of USDC to eligible players’ Fractal Wallets.
Anti-Cheating
Fractal and Fractal game partners reserve the right to disqualify tournament players in the event of cheating.
It is considered cheating and is strictly prohibited to:
- Tamper with the game to gain an advantage over other players
- Use third-party software / macros to automate gameplay
- Use third-party software to modify game data
- Share your wallet or account
- Tamper with your reported score
- Exploit a bug to gain an unfair advantage over other players
Cheating will result in disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of any leaderboard prizes.
