Celer cBridge Supports MATTER Bridging between Ethereum and the New Antimatter B2

We are excited to announce our collaboration with AntiMatter, a hub for decentralized on-chain financial products such as derivatives and financial non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Celer cBridge will be supporting the bridging of their $MATTER token between Ethereum and B2, AntiMatter’s BAS. AntiMatter has just set up and launched their BSC Application Sidechain (BAS), named B2, on mainnet! This BAS aims to help facilitate the financial blockchain infrastructure of the AntiMatter ecosystem.

This is a bit of a unique case as we have never before supported the bridging and migration of an ERC20 token on one chain to its own sidechain and also converted it to the native gas token version on the sidechain. Since MATTER was originally minted on the Ethereum blockchain, this makes it an ERC20-MATTER on Ethereum and a native-MATTER token on B2. With the help of our cBridge technology, we were able to seamlessly bridge the ERC20-MATTER from Ethereum to the native-MATTER used as the gas token on B2. In addition, when bridging back to Ethereum, cBridge will burn the native-MATTER on B2 and release the original ERC20-MATTER on Ethereum.

This collaboration will provide significant benefits for users of the AntiMatter ecosystem. They will be able to use MATTER on the high-speed and low-cost B2 chain for financial transactions, gas fess, and take advantage of the benefits of cBridge technology for seamless cross-chain transactions.
