Recruitment of members for WONDER DAO commenced on April 14th, which is the inaugural community DAO of WEMIX 3.0 and operates as WONDER1, appointed as the first official member of the Node Council Partners(NCP).
In response to the concerns within the community regarding the ability of WONDER DAO to achieve its recruitment goal and successfully commence its operations, given the slightly underwhelming member recruitment status, the WEMIX team has decided to support the launch of WONDER DAO as follows:
- On Friday, April 21st, the Foundation will participate in the recruitment through the Station by supplying the remaining WEMIX to fulfill the WONDER DAO recruitment goal.
- The Foundation will hold WONDER tokens in a separate wallet, without depositing them into the Obelisk for staking or into the liquidity pool. The Foundation aims to fully yield the benefits of the DAO’s growth to the community and will not hold any governance tokens (g.WDR) that may be used for voting. This will effectively allow for the governance to operate in a decentralized and democratized manner without the involvement of the Foundation.
- However, provided that the volatility of the WONDER token increases and has an adverse effect on the stable operation of the DAO, measures such as providing liquidity may be taken to alleviate the situation.
- Our goal in the long term is to enable WONDER DAO to become fully decentralized and community-driven by effectively transferring the Foundation-owned WONDER Tokens (WDR) to the community through various methods.
It is our expectation that the Foundation's proposed plan will instigate greater confidence within the community regarding the capacity to achieve and sustain the stability and expansion of WONDER DAO.
