PUBLISH is pleased to announce it has signed an MoU with the Korea eSports Committee (KEC).
Under the agreement, the KEC will make use of patented technology developed by PUBLISH, including a cryptocurrency-based read-to-earn and donation solution.
The KEC was established in 2021 as the Korean office of the International Esports Committee (IEC), which is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
The KEC seeks to create a safe egaming platform for teenagers that addresses concerns over addiction and violence. In 2021, it held the International Youth Esports Festival at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
Commenting on the partnership, PUBLISH CEO Sonny Kwon said, “Just as NFT games and P2E [pay-to-earn] games are redefining the gaming landscape, I believe R2E [read-to-earn] will redefine the media landscape.
