Andrew Tate, the controversial figure facing charges of alleged human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to exploit women, has been granted permission to leave Romania while awaiting trial. The Bucharest Tribunal ruled that Tate can travel, but he must remain within the European Union (EU). Tate was arrested in December 2022 alongside his brother, Tristan.

Following the court's decision, Tate took to Twitter to express his relief, writing, "I am free. For the first time in 3 years, I can leave Romania." Despite the restriction of staying within the EU, Tate immediately announced a "global" tour to promote DADDY, the Solana memecoin he has been endorsing. In a video posted on Twitter, he listed potential tour destinations including Tokyo, Dubai, and Miami, though he did not clarify how he intends to visit these locations while restricted to the EU.

On Thursday, Tate outlined plans for a DADDY airdrop, which involves joining his controversial "get rich quick cult," The Real World. This platform, a rebranded version of his Hustlers University, encourages users to increase their "power level" to receive more DADDY tokens in the airdrop. The Real World app was banned from Google and Apple app stores in 2023, following complaints that it was a pyramid scheme promoting misogynistic ideologies.

In addition to his legal troubles in Romania, Tate faces a separate British arrest warrant for charges of rape and sexual assault. Romanian authorities have agreed to extradite him to the UK only after the conclusion of his trial in Romania.

The DADDY token saw a brief uptick in value amidst the broader crypto market downturn but has since dropped about 9.7% over the last 24 hours. The token is down 33% over the past month, and almost 46% from its all-time high value of $0.2925. It is currently valued at a market cap of $93 million.
