MOBLAND Third-Person Shooter:  Closed Alpha

MOBLAND is launching the Closed Alpha round for the Battle Royale game mode that puts players in the shoes of gangsters fighting for the ultimate title of Kingpin in a third-person shooter.  In this game mode, there is only one Kingpin as players fight against each other in a last-man-standing deathmatch.  The ultimate objective of the game is to be the last player standing at the end, thus claiming the victory.

All players begin the game by dropping into MOBLAND..  Blueprint characters drop into MOBLAND with the weapon associated with the Blueprint’s Metadata.  Players  can also gather additional weapons, ammunition, and supplies from crates scattered throughout the city.

In this Battle Royale game mode, the intensity of the match increases as the game progresses. A "safe zone" is created on the map, which gradually shrinks over time, forcing players to engage in combat and making it increasingly difficult to avoid danger. Those who fail to keep up with the shrinking safe zone and find themselves outside it will gradually lose health until they die, adding an additional layer of challenge to the game. Players must carefully strategize their moves and plan their actions to ensure they stay within the safe zone and outlast their opponents.

We will host a Closed Alpha Session on Thursday, April 27th at 8:00pm PST.  There are only 20 spots available for this round and registration is on a first come, first serve basis!

You can register for the Closed Alpha session here

All submissions beyond the 20 available spots will be rolled over to the second round of Closed Alpha, which will take place next week.

Once all the available spots have been filled we will make an announcement across our official social channels.

More information surrounding mechanics and timelines for MOBLAND’s  third-person shooter will be released after the closed alpha rounds!
